This particular piece was an especially transformative experience while creating it not only for the artwork itself, but for Laura as well. Layers upon layers took the canvas from one iteration to the next with each stage as unique as the one that came before it. When it finally felt complete, there was a deep sense of peace and admiration as it took patience and surrender to get there.
